Kinn Thai Knox

Featuring different tones from previous designs, Victoria’s first Kinn Thai Restaurant captures the attention of diners both inside and out. From the timber shingles used on the shopfront to give the illusion of a timber roof to the exposed industrial roller set giving extra feature to the shopfront sliding doors, the designer has paid extra attention to the small details.

Not without its challenges; the large A-frame truss internal structure had to be constructed on the floor before standing it up and building it into the wall frames; the finished product encompasses the relaxed environment Kinn Thai aims to achieve in all their restaurants.

Creating unique and striking feature walls, custom doors made to look antique were fitted, along with Hand-painted tiles imported from Thailand.
